Thank God that people of India have finally started to realize the major issue of Coronavirus and the problems that it brings with it. The date of release for the film Sooryavanshi wasn’t finalized and everyone was making assumptions for the same.
But now Akshay Kumar has declared on his social accounts that the safety of his fans and the general public is most important. He wrote that it took over a year of dedication and hard work to make a film like Sooryavanshi for the fans. And they want the people who watch their films to be safe and hence they have decided to postpone the release of the film.
Because our safety always, always comes first. Stay safe and take care of yourself 🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/CnNfMT6Kck

Besides this film of Akshay Kumar, it is also being reported that the release date of other films like Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, starring Salman Khan and Disha Patani and 83, starring Ranveer Singh, have also been postponed. But the same has not been confirmed yet.
Also, yesterday it was declared that the cinema halls on Kerala and Delhi have been shut down up to March 31st, 2020, so that might also force filmmakers to postpone their releases. Let’s see what happens next.
